40HP TO 50HP TOHATSU, NISSAN AND MERCURY CONVERSION KIT

Conversion kit from 40HP to 50HP for Tohatsu, Nissan and Mercury copy outboards. This kit also includes Boyesen reeds and FCR high flow reed intake plate which outperform factory 50HP components. This kit will require 50HP carburettors which are sold separately.

 

Kit includes -

- FCR high flow reed intake plate

- Ultimate pro series reeds

- 3X intake gaskets

- Large exhaust tuner and gasket

- 50HP throttle timing cam

- Drive shaft housing gasket

- Internal exhaust housing gasket

 

Internal port timing may require modification to match 50HP specification.  Such as Mercury 40 XR lightning outboards require port modifications.  This kit provides an increase in performance to both 40HP and 50HP port timing motors.  Velocity stacks are sold seperately and it is highly recommended to install solid mounts during this conversion.  Solid mounts are not included and powerhead gasket must be purchased when installing solid mounts.
